James was born Memphis, Tennessee and grew up in the mid-west. James was born-again in 1985 and baptized in the Holy Spirit in 1992. In 1994 he received a rhema word from the Lord. The Lord said, "Out of this house I will send you to preach, to sing and to prophecy. The Lord instructed James to attend Rhema Bible College from 1998 through 2001 and he graduated from the founders class of "Rhema School of Pastoral Ministry". James is licensed and ordained through Rhema Ministerial Association International. He has been involved in ministry for over 25 years serving in various capacities. He has served in areas of worship as a worship leader and on a praise band. He and his wife Lori also lead worship for their Discipleship Weekend Seminars. James has served as senior pastor, associate pastor, in men's ministry, children's ministry, nursing home ministry, ministry to the homeless and prison ministry.
After graduation the Lord called James to Loveland, Colorado, there he met his wife Lori while attending a local church and in 2006 they were married. In 2007 they pioneered and pastored a local church. After pastoring for 3 years the Lord spoke to James and told him that He was sending him on a "mission to set the captives free". God also told James by the Spirit to go "teach His people faith".
In 2010 by the leading of the Holy Spirit, James and Lori founded Faith NOW Ministries and together they evangelize, teach and disciple others. And through the Holy Spirit they bring healing to the wounded and broken.
Lori was born and raised in a small rural farming community in Minnesota. Growing up she attended a denominational church. She knew there was more to being a Christian than just attending weekly services and came to the realization that her sin had separated her from God. Lori made Jesus Christ Lord of her life in 1986. She received the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit in 2003.
Lori is a licensed minister and has been involved in various types of ministries. Along with teaching and helping to lead worship in the Discipleship Weekend Seminars, Lori has lead women's Bible study, served as a crisis pregnancy counselor, and has facilitated post-abortion recovery groups. She also counseled for an on-line counseling pre and post abortive ministry for over 3 years.
God is using Lori's gift of teaching the Word to bring healing to the wounded and hurting, especially in the area of abortion. Lori along with her husband James take the Word of God outside the walls of the church building. They are focused on bringing the Word of God to those behind the prison walls. Together they are seeing many incarcerated men and women born again, baptized in the Holy Spirit and living dramatically transformed lives.
20 I have been crucified with Christ; it is no longer I who live, but Christ lives in me; and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and
gave Himself for me.
